Ski Area Catinaccio offers over 13 km of slopes

During the winter we organize every day guided walks with “snowshoes” and lunch by the hut or by the covered and heated panoramic terrace.

During the winter, Catinaccio becomes the magic kingdom of the snow and thanks to its optimal net of ski lifts, you can enjoy the pleasure of skiing on very long slopes into an enchanting scenery.
Romantic people and the lovers of photography do not have to miss the appointment with “Enrosadira.” “Enrosadira” indicates that magic moment of the sunset, when the rocks of Catinaccio turn rose. This phenomenon is unique and is linked to an ancient popular legend, which was handed down: the legend of King Laurino. According to the story, the King who was angry and anguished for the kidnapping of his beautiful daughter in his wonderful garden of roses, cursed its garden: nobody will have the possibility to admire the garden neither during the day nor during the night. The King forgot the sunset and so everybody can see the wonderful rosy colours of the garden at sunset.
